Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe what's going on. The welfare people showed up at my house lastnight to take my 3 grandkids away!!!
Ok, let me start at the begining... My daughter has lived with this jerk for about a year and a half. They just had a new baby together 7 weeks ago. The two of them fight all the time. Well, this time when they were fighting, the jerk included the new baby. He grabed the baby by the arm and yanked her out of her mom's arms. Mom got away, with her kids, and called the police. The police took the jerk to jail. Mom took baby to the hospital to have her arm checked, which was fine. While at the hospital, the police and welfare people told her that if she went back to the jerks house, they would take her kids.
She didn't want to go back anyway. She, and the 3 kids (1 already lives with me) came to my house. My house is no where near big enough for all of us, and my landlord (another jerk) said she has to go. She was here for a few days, then she went to my sister-in-laws house, in a different town.
Well, I'm glad they were not here lastnight because the welfare and a cop showed up here to take the kids because "somebody" reported to them that the jerk has been here at my house with her. Keep in mind, his nosey mother is always butting in and trying to cause trouble and making up stories to the welfare. So hummm, wonder who called the welfare.
What makes me mad is, some nosey, crabby old hag can call and make up a story and cause somebody's own kids to be taken away. What a bunch of bull!!!!! Don't they ever investigate anything before they go yank somebody's kids out of their home? No, they yank the kids away from their parents, scare the shit out of them, and then investigate. Then it takes the parents forever to get them back home.
I better not get started because then this will be so long that nobody will want to read the whole thing. But I am so MAD!!! Those kids are very loved and taken care of. And now they're away from the mean guy. NOBODY has the right to come and take them away, and there's no reason to. Sure seems aweful easy for the welfare to take peoples kids away. Who do they think they are???
It's their job to pathologize everything.
I am so glad they got away and are safe. Let's hope that old bag doesn't pick on them again. 
Thats so awful... i hope that everything gets better real soon... 
I am so shocked by the way things are done over there. Children are typically taken in by their next of kin if their own parents are unable to care for them for some reason. I hope you all manage to STAY together! STAY together! 
i am soooo sorry to hear about what is happening right now. I hope things get better for everybody. 
Sorry about what you and your daughter had to undergo last couple of weeks. But I always wish you good luck and have the courage to face and sort out the problems. Any thing bad has something (however small)good in it. If something has happened or is inevitable try to find the good side and get the maximum out of it, forgetting about everything bad. This works and has worked for me.
Sounds like a total nightmare and Im sorry you and the kids have to go through that. It's very scary when a stranger can complain like that and have ones kids taken away...I know because we recently had a brush ourselves...My 2 yo pushed the screen out of the window and ran onto the road. Thankfully we had taken steps to secure the windows by the time the welfare woman suprised us with a visit about 2 weeks later and we were recently given the all clear after she talked with my neighbor.Makes you mad though...especially since I was only going to the bathroom for a about 30 seconds when it happened (I'm Pregnant and do this about 100 times a day..lol)Anyway...I hope everything turns out...best of luck. ;)
